Are my customers required to have an Amazon account to use Amazon Pay for Services?
Yes. Amazon Pay doesn’t offer “guest checkout” at this time and an Amazon account is required for checkout with Amazon Pay. Amazon accounts are free to register and allows the customer to easily access their payment and shipping information already stored on their account.
Will I need to set up my invoices with Amazon to collect payments?
No, you can continue to use your existing invoicing tools and simply offer Amazon Pay as a payment option to your customers. Once payment is made, you will be able to track payment details, including invoice number, in your Amazon Pay account to reconcile with your invoicing tools.
Will Amazon Pay send reminders to pay outstanding invoices?
No, Amazon Pay will not contact customers on your behalf to request payment for outstanding invoices.
What is the fee to use Amazon Pay?
Amazon Pay fees are transaction-based and have a processing and authorization component. The transaction fee is composed of a domestic processing fee and an authorization fee, plus tax where applicable.
